Just installed this "free" app just to find out after you get the phone number you want that its only "free" for a limited Time. It doesnt say how much they will charge you for it so NO WAY am I going to have them hook me with having a phone number out there then have to pull it because they want to charge me...how much...? Dont know!

I bought 2 numbers and neither work. super disappointing I also tried emailing flyp customer service but they never responded. thats even more disappointing

Excellent call quality compare to other services...strongly recommended app.

I use flyp almost everyday to call my friends and family that live in my hometown. I’ve tried several other apps (Skype, Whatsapp calling, Viber, FaceTime, etc..) and NONE of them are as half good in terms of call quality as flyp is! It is literally like I am calling local. And the best part, is that calling and texting are free. Keep it up with the updates!

I really just started using it as my secondary business number and when I had a problems I text the tech-support and they got back with me within 24 hours. and within 48 hours they resolve my problem. So far so good

Great app with a well designed interface. Does exactly what it says. Free subscription is even pretty powerful!

I first started using the app in December 2015, and for the most part it worked fine. Over the past 2 weeks the app has begun silently making phone calls to all kinds of random numbers. I know this only because Im getting dozens of calls from people saying theyve just received a phone call from my number. I have emailed customer support several times and have yet to receive a response.

Incoming texts dont work, sent all details to customer support, no response / delays. Google Voice is much better than this useless app.

Great design, easy to use, and just what I needed to balance my busy work schedule and social life. Just kidding, I dont have a social life. But I still like Flyp.

I have my friends and family from Germany download this app. Every call feels as if theyre right here in Chicago. Dont know how this guys are doing that but the quality is awesome! Also so far we didnt have to pay a dime... so its freeeee!!

This app is awesome! Being in real estate, my cell phone number is advertised all over the internet. I am the perfect target for telemarketers. After years of exposure not only on my website, but on the major sites like Zillow and Trulia, I get so many telemarketing calls, its ridiculous. I got to the point where I decided that I didnt even want to answer my phone anymore. This highly likely caused me to miss out on a lot of business. I thought about getting a Second phone, But even the pay-as-you-go phones are more than what this amazing app charges for an entire year. First of all, the first phone number is free! I decided that I could keep this number completely off of my website and advertising that goes on line, but I could advertise my flip number on my real estate signs. This has completely eliminated the calls I do not wish to receive or waste time on. Now, when the phone rings, I know that its from somebody very important about a listing. It also looks good because I have called that my dedicated client phone line. Only my clients or potential clients get access to this phone number. I decided to purchase a second line for $29.99. This would be an exclusive line for my vendors that I work with. At first, I was not able to see the second phone number from Flyp, however I reported it and they had fixed it very quick! Their customer service is excellent! The app works great and Im very satisfied with the entire process. Thanks Flyp!!!

The app doesnt need wifi to connect which comes in very handy. I like that I got to choose my own area code!

Im not an app person but I MUST agree w/all the other reviews this app is EVERYTHING. Ive only used it for business (as an Uber driver). And dont have complaints. I look forward to having Carribean locations getting added to the service so I can use FLYP on vacay! Invest in this app...Its FREE!!! The app developer did the world justice with this one. I am not at all impressed with this app. Notifications rarely occur and by the time I get a notification for a call I go to answer and it just calls the person back. There havent been any great updates in a while that have changed any functionality. No picture texts. Looking for alternatives.

Landline calls to Flyp number do not work and gets a "this number disconnected or not in service". Same with some mobile carriers calling the number. Sometimes text works. No answer from support.

The app is great I actually love it and would give it five stars only thing its missing is you should be able to send picture messages....

Ive been using this as my salon number and have had clients tell me they tried to call it but are being told the number isnt in service. Only some of my clients can get through. Now Im wondering how many potential clients Ive lost using this service. Deleted it and went to another service.
